Agreement

These terms govern your use of debthelpu.com, operated by Debt Help U, a DBA of Global Wealth LLC. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

Debt Help U provides free educational content and free calculators about consumer debt. If you complete our assessment, qualify, and ask us to, we will introduce you to a debt relief company.

What this site is not

We are not a lender, creditor, debt collector, credit repair organization, or law firm. We do not negotiate with creditors on your behalf, do not settle debt, do not offer loans, and never take possession of your money.

Nothing on this site is financial, legal, or tax advice. It is general information. Your situation has specifics that general information cannot account for. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your debt.

The calculators are estimates

Our calculators use standard amortization math and assumptions that are stated on each page. Your actual results depend on your interest rates, your creditors' terms, fees, how payments are applied, and changes to any of those over time.

Treat the results as a well-informed estimate, not a statement of what will happen. We believe the math is correct and we test it, and we do not warrant that the output matches what any particular creditor will do.

How we are compensated

We earn a referral fee when someone we introduce to Mediator Debt Solutions enrolls in a program. That fee is paid by Mediator Debt Solutions, not by you, and does not increase your program cost. Our full disclosure explains this in plain language.

This arrangement creates a financial incentive for us when you enroll. We disclose it prominently for that reason, and you should weigh it when reading anything we publish.

No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee that you will qualify for any program, that any creditor will accept any offer, that any specific amount will be reduced, or that any timeline will be met. Creditors make those decisions independently. Results vary.

Debt settlement can adversely affect your credit, your balances can grow while a program runs due to continued interest and fees, and creditors may pursue collection or legal action. Forgiven debt may be treated as taxable income.

Third parties

Mediator Debt Solutions and any provider they work with are independent companies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their services, their fees, or their conduct. Your agreement with them is between you and them, and you should read it carefully before signing.

This site links to third party resources, including government and nonprofit sites. We do not control their content.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information. Use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, submit automated or fraudulent entries, scrape it at scale, or submit anyone's information but your own.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and code of this site belong to Debt Help U, a DBA of Global Wealth LLC. You may read, print, and share it for personal use. You may not republish it commercially without permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the content is complete or current at any moment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Debt Help U, a DBA of Global Wealth LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, from any decision you make based on it, or from any dealings with a third party you were introduced to.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Debt Help U, a DBA of Global Wealth LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
